Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were top-notch, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you need for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the new town, surrounded by cafes and bars. The service was exceptional, including great housekeeping and pet amenities available. The dining experience was pleasant, especially with the light and lovely Tea, although a bit overpriced. Overall, a fantastic place with lots of positives.
My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The location is perfect for exploring most of the main attractions in Edinburgh, and the room had everything we needed and more, which was fantastic for my birthday trip. However, I did find the dining options slightly limited. Overall, a great value for the money.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were smaller and darker than expected but well-equipped like a cozy home. Despite the heat, they offered all necessary amenities. The location was lovely for exploring the city center but felt a bit dark at times. The dining options were limited but sufficient for a quick bite. The service was friendly and efficient, catering to my needs throughout the stay.
I felt like I was in a maze trying to find my room, and the delivery truck woke me up at 1:45 am, but once inside, the room was lovely, spotless, and had everything I needed, including an iron and ironing board for my wedding shirt. The interior was great!
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were warm but the provided fan was terrific for our needs, and they were comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean. On the downside, being in the basement at the front meant dealing with noise from the neighboring cocktail bar smokers until early hours.
The hotel was terrific, having everything you could possibly need and more. The rooms, although small, were lovely, like a 16-year-old's bedroom. It was very hot at 25 degrees with underfloor heating, so I had to ask for a fan. The location was fantastic with helpful and friendly staff close to lots of shopping and dining options. The dining experience was very tasty and unique with satisfactory grilled fish. Housekeeping and pet amenities were available, enhancing the service provided.
I stayed at the hotel for a weekend, and while the room was a bit cramped with no space for a bedside table, they upgraded me to a better room for free, which was a nice surprise. However, the room was not well-ventilated and quite hot, making it a bit uncomfortable.
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Edinburgh, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were comfortable with a nice kitchenette, though the view could be better. The staff is friendly and the dining options, while tasty, were a bit limited. Overall, a great value for a quick weekend getaway.
The hotel is located perfectly in the heart of the city, making it convenient to explore all the major attractions on foot. The rooms are spotlessly clean and modern, although some might find the view into the alley a bit unusual. The service was top-notch, with attentive housekeeping and pet amenities available. Overall, a great value for the money with many nearby dining choices.
The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Edinburgh, with a warm and beautifully presented room overlooking a courtyard. However, the lack of space for a bedside table was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast was amazing, but the dining options were somewhat limited.
